Sagrado Profano is an essay on sexuality that uses collage as a dialectical engine. The idea is to compose an analogy between the distance or intimacy that can be established with the piece, as well as the image that this relationship suggests. In this work, the gestures, behaviors, feelings and desires immortalized by the image, are supported by the materiality and tradition of the tile to highlight the illusory, fragmented, hidden and mysterious reality of our own sexuality.
